Mister Rui Mini Paint Roller Kit-13 Piece, Small Roller Paint Brush & Frame

Unexpectedly nice all around, from the packaging to use! The tray is sturdy and comes with multiple trays, as good as anything you could find at a hardware store. Rollers are average quality. They're certainly not the thickest nap, but hold a decent amount of paint for a 4" roller and had even coverage and didn't shed. The handle was comfortable enough for about 30-60min of use without any discomfort. They worked great for some touch ups or detail work--kind of a "jack of all trades" of rollers. Not top-of-the-line, but versatile and great for getting into smaller spaces.

I was hesitant to buy this pack because I worried the brush and rollers would be low quality, but I liked that it had everything I was looking for so thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I used this to prime and paint a strip of raw wood and some trim that had been added to a piece of furniture and application using both tools was smooth and even. I did have one piece of fuzz that came off one of the rollers but I picked it out with my fingers and rolled back over that spot and had no other issues. The paint try is also nicely designed, with a channel in one corner for pouring unused paint back in the can, and I appreciate having a couple of liners so I can switch between paint and primer easily. The drop cloth I haven't used yet but I assume it's fine. Feels a little lightweight so you may want to weigh it down if using it on the floor.

This was so helpful when I painted stair risers. It's size was perfect and it came with everything. It definitely helped reduce the mess despite me being a really messy painter. It was sturdy when full of paint.

It's decent quality and got the job done

It comes with everything you need. I didn’t realize it even comes with the plastic to put under the pan. The roller brushes and paint brush are great. I really liked that. It came in a box that you can reuse when you’re done.

I purchased this mini paint roller kit during a remodeling project and ended up using it far more than I expected. Most of the work involved painting trim, cutting in around walls, detailing around windows and sliding glass doors, and painting along ceiling edges where a full-size roller would have been awkward to use. The 4-inch rollers were a great size for these types of detail-oriented jobs and provided much better control than a standard roller. The kit included everything I needed, and the removable tray liners turned out to be one of my favorite features. Cleanup was much easier than washing out an entire paint tray every time I changed colors or finished for the day. One feature I didn't even notice at first was the built-in magnet for holding a paintbrush. Once I started using it, it became incredibly convenient. I spent a lot of time on a ladder switching between a brush and roller, and being able to temporarily park the brush on the tray meant fewer trips up and down the ladder and less mess. I was also impressed by the red base tray itself. It is much sturdier than I expected and includes non-slip feet that helped keep it stable while working. Little details like that made the kit feel well thought out and easier to use throughout the project. I've used this kit throughout several weeks of remodeling work, and it has held up well while making many of the detailed painting tasks easier and more efficient. If you're painting trim, doors, windows, ceilings, or other areas where precision matters, this is a handy kit to have.

So besides the Paint Roller Covers (R/C) Sucking, this kit is ok. The quality is good and easy to use. But now lemme get back to them sucky R/C. Cause if I would’ve known what I know now, I would’ve bought the sponge type R/C instead. Because with these I had to keep stopping and taking off the micro fiber, cotton or whatever the material they were made out of off the dresser I was painting. So just doing that made for a long painting process. But like I said besides the R/C everything else was good. Hell even the C/S was good. They helped me as much as they could with my problem. So would I buy is kit again, no not this one. But if Mister Rui has this in a sponge R/C kit, then yeah I’ll grab that fo sho!
