Schwer AIR-SKIN Arm Sleeves for Thin Skin and Bruising ANSI A6 Cut Resistant

I maintain about 20+ acres and was looking for a gauntlet type of arm guard to take the place of having to wear long sleeve undershirts or long sleeve shirts during the summer. After the first day i have been impressed with these arm guards. I normally have a hard time finding long enough sleeves but the 22 inch units leave almost no gap with a standard t- shirt. They cover your arms and are comfortable to wear. Even in 90 degree weather with high humidity the fabric breathes well. I actually like the thumb loop as it help keeps the guards from rolling up when working. Great product for weedeating, cutting trees, mowing or trimming around thorny bushes. Only negative is that the velcro straps may rub or pinch if you have skin tags/moles on your arms near the strap point.

I needed something to protect my arms when mowing the lawn and working up back where there are lots of rose bushes and berry vines. I did a lot of research before picking these, and it was worth it. Kevlar makes the difference! If you're only worried about dirt and too much sunshine, any sleeves will work, but if you have thorns and other sharp stuff that is trying to scratch you, you need Kevlar!

I bought the fluorescent green so my wife could spot me while I am in the bush and trees. Color faded to a dull pale color after first wash, otherwise they work well.

Keeps my arms protected during forestry work decently (wouldn’t say it stopped the chainsaw though). Better suited for pirate duels and protecting oneself from stabbing your self with a knife in a drunken bet. They are a little itchy though and there was a tear on the hand part of one of them but it didn’t affect use as I keep my hands under thick leather gloves and chain. Would buy again.

As you age, the skin on your arms and legs becomes thin. When you’re out in the yard and garage, working on things that like to tear up your arms and legs, you’ll thank me for this review. I bought a set last year and gave them to my husband for Christmas. I am shocked that he actually wore these all summer. They saved him from bloody tears to his forearms, from working on the tractor mowers and low-hanging branches. Now, if they only made a set for his shins. The carnage…!!
