This is a great product! I've been using this with a variety of instruments and its very simple and easy to use. Compact enough that it doesn't take up much room at all and easy to throw into a gig bag. A little pricey, but the quality is amazing. Little to no latency and the sound quality is amazing. No more tripping over cables or cable routing. just plug and play, it doesn't get much better. I've had this for a couple years now and it continues to perform like new! Highly recommend getting yourself one!

I have had MANY, and I mean many wireless units over the years all the way to Nady. I've had full-pro rackmount units and smaller line 6 units and portable "bug" type units and the Boss unit is amazing. Very natural sound, great build quality, reliable. The only thing I wish they had was either a quality case or even better a charging case. That would completely put them over the top but they sound incredible and that is ultimately what really matters.

I am forever stepping on my patch cables when I play the electric guitar and found the wireless system when I was looking around on Amazon for other guitar gear. Boss has a good name when it comes to musical gear so I decided to try a pair of these out. Like most of the other reviews stated the components sync up quickly and you can charge both up while they are connected physically. These are very easy to use. I am still wearing the first charge down as far as I can and it's been several hours so far. The 10 hour charge claim seems to be true so far. I initially thought that my wireless signal was getting clipped at low volume but it turned out to be one of my sound pedals. Once I figured that out I was able to hear the full sustain from my guitars. If you plan on playing guitar often I think this is a good product (considering the price). When I think of how many times I have had to fix or replace patch cables (or fix a busted port on one of my guitars) I think these will be worth it.

Well built product. I had two issues. This switches on when plugged into the jacks. While this is nifty it also means you cannot leave them plugged into guitar and amp when not playing as it will drain the battery. You’ll end up having to unplug both at the end of every session. This may be just fine with your routine and is in any case not a big deal. In my case i use it for practice and prefer leaving them plugged in and switching off a button which some competing products have. My second issue was with WiFi router interference. The 2.4GHz spectrum is what most WiFi routers use and my amp is close to the router. This caused significant interference. Boss says in instructions to be at least 3 meters away from WiFi router and this is just impractical for me. My solution was to go with a different product that uses the 5GHz spectrum and that has on/off buttons. In most other cases I end up using Boss products as they are just so well built and thought through. This is a rare exception.

I use the WL-20 in a live setting twice a week for about five hours at a time. It has to work on a stage that has multiple wireless transmitters and receivers as well as one additional WL unit. Absolutely ideal for a live setting. Sound quality is perfect, range is more than I need on a large stage and the battery life is excellent. Firm factor is great. The receiver is plugged into the input of my Boss GT1000 and it's so nice not having to power it separately. I've used it with guitar, bass and acoustic. No issues with any frequency drop out (I play a five string bass) and I don't experience any latency. I've since attached a short extension to the transmitter because I'm concerned about bumping it when inserted but I've also dropped it numerous times and it's solid. Boss is absolutely killing it the past few years and this unit just adds to their mojo. Well done.

It worked okay in my music room sitting next to my amp. But if I wanted to play in any other room in the house I first had to turn off the Wi-Fi router in my living room and a couple of oscillating fans in two other rooms. Otherwise I got a lot of breakup and static. Then after a couple of weeks it started jamming up during charging. I'd plug the receiver and transmitter together and into a USB adapter. The green lights would come on after a few hours saying it was fully charged. But as soon as I unplugged everything and plugged it into my amp and guitar a red light would come on at the receiver and it was dead. I recharged it several times but after hours of tinkering with it per BOSS's literature I finally gave up and went back to using a cable. All in all it was a complete waste of good money for me.

Literally just got this. So my experience and comments will be limited. I will try to update in a few weeks. First, I thought the instructions could have been laid out better. The page was so busy. I like clear and to the point 1, 2, 3 instructions. Second, I thought the product had a good feel to it and was packaged professionally. So, unpackaging was a pleasant experience. Charging was easy as was hookup. The first sound was sharp and clean. I liked it. It sounded better than my cheapo wireless setup I use at home for fun. But I must admit that it did not sound like my cable even though it’s supposed to emulate a cable hookup. As I started playing with recordings I play a lot, I kept finding that my sound either got lost in the music or was much too loud and brittle sounding. I couldn’t find the middle ground where my sound blended but was audible. I also had difficulty creating warmth. So, I am not yet sure whether or not I will like this unit or if I will ever use it on stage. I will work with it a while and see if I can find the sounds I am looking for. So, I will not be giving up my belt pack yet. Also, you need to know that tonight I played an American Stratocaster through a Line 6 Helix pedal board into a Fender Princeton 112 amp. I might have had a different experience without the pedalboard or with my Les Paul. I will try all my guitar and amp combinations. I really want to like this. We’ll see.

I've tried a couple different wireless guitar systems and they were awful. I was skeptical about this one. However, I decided to give it a shot. You get what you pay for! I'm in love with this wireless setup. Everything about it is amazing. I feel so free using it! Things I love most: ++ Little to no latency ++ Not much interference, very stable connection ++ No noticable difference in sound in a live setting The only issues I ever have are when I forget that my cell phone is in my pocket. If you have wireless devices too close to you, the connection will break up. I'm a huge fan of these! If you are a performing/gigging guitarist, I highly recommend you give these a try! You won't regret it!

I have been using this since October and so far it's working great. It doesn't have the range my Samson had but it also doesn't have the headache of running an extra guitar cable and needing an extra place to plug power into. This can sometimes be an issue when playing in older buildings. So you just charge it up before the gig and go. My bass player had issues with his wl 20l for his active bass but as we all know, every now and then, we can end up with a dud but in the end his issue ended up being with L&M that were more interested in sending it off to be fixed and making him wait rather than just replace it but I digress and these are fantastic little units.

I have had older wireless unit with a strap pack etc, these Boss units are great, small and put together as a package. No signal loss/change. The built in kill switch is great, I switch guitars with no extra noise. I just have to remember what the light color means! Good battery life, use them all night without charging. Great buy for the money.

The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because you need to find a stable connection and that takes more than a few attempts, but once the signal no longer cuts and is stable, it works great and stays that way for a long time. I'm a living room guitar player, can't imagine gigging and having these lost of signal issues live!! The reason why I bought them, even though it's fairly expensive, is because I was introduced to the same wireless technology on my Boss Waza Air Headphones and for a reason I don't know, I've never experienced an unstable connection with them and it's the exact same technology. Actually this product was originally designed for the Waza Air.
