Powerful iPad Hard-Shell Case & Full Function Keyboard
Looking for a high-quality keyboard and case for your iPad? I have had similar cases to this in past and been pleased. This is a new case for my new iPad M5 11”. So far, I am very pleased. The hard-shell case protects your iPad extremely well without overly increasing size and weight of the iPad by itself. The keyboard is backlit with many colours available and two brightness levels & off, and the keys feel very comfortable for typing. The thing that sets this keyboard above any others I’ve seen is it’s multitude of functions, shortcut keys, and combo keys; they offer far more then the basic functions available with the onscreen keyboard, and usual iOS functions. The 360° swivel makes it so easy to use in every conceivable position. The addition of a touchpad mouse plus the touchscreen gives you the best of both worlds. I would readily highly recommend this keyboard and case.

Best keyboard Case
I had the 9th-generation typecase. It served its job. My 9th-gen base model ipad is slowing down, and can no longer handle my multitasking with the new iPadOS, so I upgraded to the M4 Air iPad. I know this is going to be a good case because my old iPad is in excellent condition. The 9th-gen case survived multiple falls and manipulations. It's been 4-5 years since I purchased the old one, still working fine; however, the hinges are loosening apart, but let me tell you I really abused it. It is easy to use, protects the iPad, and it's cheap. The typing is perfectly fine for me; I have no issues. Very simple to add to your iPad settings. I know this new generation will be even better since it was a great experience before. I do not need the best keyboard in the market, this typecase will do just fine, will recommend to anybody looking for a keyboard case for ipads.

UPDATE: I’d still buy this over Magic Keyboard any day
I don’t have a Magic Keyboard so maybe I’m unaware of what makes them so great. I tried one in the Apple store and didn’t see what justifies the price. The keys have a nice feel to them and the pass-through charging is handy if you use it all the time, but that’s still not enough reason for me to spend that kind of money. So I got this one and I’m glad I did. I’ve had this for about a year, often traveling out of state with it in my backpack, and have had no issues with it. It types just as well as others and lights up like it’s supposed to. I’ve dropped my iPad on hardwood floors multiple times and this case has kept it locked in place and protected it from cracks, dents, and scratches even when the case was open. I’ve only charged the battery a few times since owning it, partially because it goes to sleep if I forget to turn it off. The little leather tab has kept my knockoff Apple Pencil in place over the past year during the same hard drops and travels as well. What I like most is the swivel action and backward folding that allow me to use it in any angle I need. That’s when other people tend to notice it and compliment it as well. I often hang it off my dresser drawer upside down at night when watching shows in bed. It has such a thoughtful design. The standard for me with most products is whether I would buy another to replace it if it this one breaks or gets lost, and I absolutely would. March 2026 update: Almost 2 years in and still no major problems. The battery holds a charge for a long time, keys are still responsive and illuminate, and after several more drops to the hardwood there is no damage to the case or iPad. The leather tab does not hold my pen securely anymore but this could probably be remedied with a rubber band. I didn’t mention in my original review how useful the trackpad is. I’ve been using this case in place of a laptop more often lately and it’s been great. Stage manager is a nice feature of the iPad and makes it easy to use different apps at once, even more so with a cheap external display. I would still buy again if this case were broken or lost.

Pretty good case
I love this keyboard, and it does a pretty good job of protecting my iPad. No problems with bluetooth connections.. it connects to my iPad pretty quickly. The letter spacing is a bit awkward at first but if you type a lot on it you'll get used to it quickly. I do have a couple issues with this case though, but I won't say they're necessarily deal breakers. More so just things to be aware of. 1. The mouse pad is awful. It's a bit laggy, slow, and imprecise. Not a huge deal if you don't mind just tapping the screen, which I usually do anyway. 2. When writing something, moving the cursor throughout a sentence using the arrow keys is painfully slow. Most keyboards will speed up the pace at which your cursor is moving if you hold it down long enough, but not this one. It moves as slowly as if you're just pushing the key over and over again rather than holding it down. It can get annoying when your finger can't quite tap the location precisely, or if for some reason the document you're on won't let you use your finger. 3. Its battery life isn't terrible, but it isn't amazing either. I'd say I can usually get about seven to eight hours of use from it before it starts to die. I like that it'll turn itself off if it isnt being used, though, to protect its battery life. 4. The paint scratched off a bit in the corners of the case, but it's not to terribly noticeable. 5. Can be difficult to get the iPad out of the case, but I guess that's also a good thing depending on how you look at it. Overall it's a pretty solid case and I'd recommend it to anyone who asked. My brother got one for himself and loves it. Perfect to cover in stickers.

worth it weight in gold!!
My friend purchased this keyboard but for her iPad mini. I had to have so I purehed the typecase Touch Keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 inch and it was a perfect fit. And It was delivered the next day June 13. It’s only been only a week and I love this keyboard with track pad case, It has turned my iPad Pro into a computer. The key is easy to attach to iPad easy to pair 5 min and I was up and typing. The keyboard have a nice touch and are the size of a regular size keyboard. It’s study and appears to made to last and protect my iPad Pro. The cost is well worth the purchase. Now to the cons the the shortcut pamphlet that comes with the typecase keyboard Touch is so obsolete. Very few of the shortcuts work on my keyboard case. For I had to call the number on back of the case to find out how to turn the track pad off because my palm kept touching the track pad as I typed, and he also many of the keys in the pamphlet, the typecase keyboard Touch doesn’t have. not a game changer. FYI: Typecase sellers it would be nice if you update your Shortcut pamphlets and make the keys on the pamphlet so hey can be read. Also for future reference of the new and updated keyb case would you plans put 2 legs on the back of the case to prop the case up while typing. Still not a game changer. I’ve been on this keyboard since it arrived. I have no regrets on his purchase so far and I will keep this review updated. UPDATE: the pencil holder doesn’t hold the Apple Pencil anymore. The piece of fabric attached to the case that’s holds the pencil became stretch out of shape and too big for the pencil so I had to purchase a pencil case.

Case and keyboard work well but durability issue with rubber feet falling off repeatedly..
This is my second version of this case having to update with my purchase of a new iPad Pro. These cases work well and are keyboard is seamless to connect, but with both cases have had issues with the rubber feet consistently coming falling off - which causes the case to rest unevenly and move around when in use. With my first version of this, the sellers would to send replacement feet free of charge, but now with the latest make you go out and purchase. Functionality and ease of use is 5 stars, but gets 3 due to repeated quality control issues with feet durability..

I want so much to love this.
The concept behind this is awesome. I hate having to pull my iPad off my Apple Keyboard to really use it for drawing. This, you can flip it around, awesome! The great - the screen can be adjusted around and even down on the keyboard for use as a pad without detaching. You can turn the keyboard on and off when you flip it over. The battery life has been good so far. The keyboard lighting is awesome. You can choose different colors even. The case is hard which, in theory, is great, but not 100% sure it would protect in a drop, which I am not going to try to find out. As others have said, the mouse track pad is a game changer, but,……. Keep reading. I really like the extra security of the pen holder. It isn’t on the magnetic side and will not charge while in there, but it is still great as it keeps the pen handy. I think it may have been a little better at the top. The Okay - I like that the keyboard is clicky, others may not. The keyboard is a bit thick, so it makes the overall unit thicker. After using my Apple keyboard case, it takes getting used to. Since the iPad is on a swivel hinge, it can be a bit top heavy, so leaning it back alllows the unit to tip if you aren’t careful. When typing, the unit shakes at times since it is on the swivel hinge. Not terrible, but can be a little annoying. The not so great - So I want so bad to love this. I have not sent it back - yet - for as much as I love the trackpad mouse feature, it is VERY VERY sensitive, but not sensitive when you need it. Let me explain… sometimes it takes a few taps to get it to scroll up. You have to use 2 fingers to scroll up, which is a pain too. But other times, it is so sensitive when you are scrolling up it goes too far. Where it becomes a possible deal breaker is the sensitivity when you are typing. I don’t lean on it when I type, I have good typing posture and have my hands arched. I don’t know if my sleeve brushes it or what, but I have been typing many times and suddenly I am not typing in the same spot. First couple of times I just kinda hit the screen to get the cursor back. Then I realized the cursor had gone elsewhere and my typing was there. Unfortunately this occurred at times I was reworking my resume and once on a job site applying for a job. Also unfortunately, I did not catch this and may have sent quite the typo filled information. So as much as I love it and like the trackpad feature, I am thinking it will be a return since the having to frequently stop to reset my cursor and correct typing issues. I have a little time to keep trying, but I am not optimistic.
