Amazingly good flashlight!
I am very impressed with this flashlight. Its construction is solid. It is brighter than any other flashlight or worklights that I own (and I own many), and I love the percent battery readout. I use it while walking my dog at night in a neighborhood with no streetlights and very often bears (Monrovia, CA); I use it for my volunteer job at the Mount Wilson Observatory when to observe "stop marks" when opening & closing the dome of the 60-inch telescope; and I also use it to inspect an area in the middle of the night where I have been engaging in amateur astronomy to make sure I have not dropped an important lens cap, nut or bolt. I like the fact that even though it has several illumination modes, the brightest, non-variable mode is the first and you can turn it on, and simply turn it off, without having to recycle through the lower power and flashing modes. I also like the fact that it has a AAA-battery backup if someone should fail to charge it but needs it. So far, the internal rechargeable battery has been great and it does not drain very fast. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and who recommend this flashlight without any reservations. It is a solid, beefy flashlight, so if someone does have weight concerns, be mindful of that. For me, it was EXACTLY what I was hoping fore.

Great Flashlight
Great Price, great value, Awesome rechargeable flashlight, 5 settings High, Med, Low, Strobe, and SOS. It displays the percentage of battery usage, Plus Wide or Narrow light by extending or retracting the front of the flashlight. Crazy Bright and that beam can be seen for miles. It can also charge your phone if needed. I keep it in my backpack at all times and you should too.

Actually a good flashlight
Wow. This flashlight is very bright. So many have very deceptive pictures, making it look like it turns night into day…and you get them and are seriously disappointed. Not this one. It doesn’t turn night into day, but it is the brightest flashlight I’ve ever had. If you want one that recharges and definitely lights up the area you point it at, this is a great option at a fair price. Pros: - built out of metal and feels very rugged. - seriously bright beam. - additional USB port so you can use it for a power bank for your cell phone if its battery dies while camping. - displays remaining charge % while in use. - decent size. Feels like you’re actually holding a flashlight, not a dollar store toy. - Charge lasts a decent amount of time. Cons: - (this may just be me) multi function. Don’t like it. Too many flashlights have that feature now. Not a huge issue on this unit since it defaults to steady on (so you don’t have to cycle through modes before you can actually use the flashlight). It just makes it take 5 button pushes to turn it off. Not a deal breaker, but IMO a simple on/off is better.

Not as high light as an advertisement photos, but definitely a bright light and good flashlight
I can’t speak to the longevity as I’ve only had it and used it a few times over the last several months. But I can say that it is a very bright and versatile flashlight. It’s not too heavy, easy to carry. I don’t agree with some of the photos for the advertising that make it seem like you’re shining six mace truck headlights into the woods, but for a flashlight of this type in size it is an impressive amount of light. Seems to recharge quickly and holding its charge for now. I really like it and would buy it again.

REVISED - Design flaw review - REVISED
Customer service quickly reached out to me regarding my initial complaint. They responded by sending me a new upgraded version of the flashlight. The new flashlight works great, I use it regularly. The battery capacity has been increased by 50% and the spotlight is now round instead of square. The on/off button looks the same on the outside so I don't know if it has been improved internally, but no issues thus far. The only criticism I have is that the new battery is smaller in diameter than the original and the fitment could be improved if they provided a plastic sleeve for it to go into. The battery works fine and the spring tension holds it firmly in place, but the fit and finish that would give it five stars just isn't there yet. Their customer support is fast, friendly, informative and willing to resolve customer complaints. Original review: It's very bright. Lasts quite awhile. Been using it for months ....THEN: it's now useless because the rubber on/off button went off center and no amount of fiddling with it will fix it. The engineer who designed that mechanism should be fired. The button and the attached push rod are one piece of rubber. If you push on it, it can get stuck and even turn sideways in the hole. You can remove it but there is no way to install it so that it works correctly. Horrible design flaw.
