I was pleasantly surprised with this little unit. I'm a new rider and new to these Bluetooth units. At first, I installed this unit with the clip on the outside of the helmet and installed the speakers in the cutouts of my helmet. I could barely hear anything. Turns out, I had to move the speakers to a different spot in my helmet as the sound was not making it into my ear canal. I ride with earplugs to prevent tinnitus. Once I found the right spot in my helmet, I was able to hear both speakers well, even with earplugs. Other reviews said it was not loud enough, but it isplenty for me. I rode on the highway, and at 70 I can still hear it clearly. You need to find the correct spot on your helmet and mount it where your ears can best hear it. Make sure you figure out where to mount the pleakers and unit first before sticking them on. There will be trial and error, so be patient with it. With phone calls, I can hear the person calling and they can hear me. I am super happy with this little I unit. I am not paid for this review, I bought it with my own money.

I received it quickly. It installed easily. It works pretty good but the volume is not loud enough unless you were on a bicycle.

I purchased this based on good reviews online. Since I don't need intercom functions I figured this would be perfect. Turns out the audio quality is complete garbage. If you're sitting still with no other noise it sounds pretty good. Once you get moving and the noise reduction kicks in the sound quality gets destroyed.

I just gave up trying to install some sort of sound system on my Heritage Soft Tail for the simple reason that there is no handlebar sound system currently on the market (at least that I’ve tried thus far) that I can hear above 55 mph. Then I found this little gem and for a fraction of the cost, I can hear everything perfectly now. This little device is deceptively loud with the volume going all the way up and I can ride all day without losing battery. As an added bonus, it comes with a very sturdy boom mic so I can make calls at slower speeds. My wife can hear me over the wind too at lower speeds while using the phone mode. Both the boom mic and speakers Velcro sturdily onto the inside of the side straps and they stay in place very well (see pics). And yes, these are speakers, not head phones. They are heavy and feel like they have a pretty good sized magnet in them for their little size. The receiver uses two ways to mount it - a stick on mount and a clip mount that inserts into the side of the helmet and retains in place with these little silicone pads on it. I found that receiver is very difficult to remove from the stick on mount so I went with the clip on mount and it is exceptionally discreet and much easier to use in terms of removing the receiver for charging. I give this unit five stars for design, ease of use, ease of installation, clarity, loudness, function, and just plain awesomeness.

Great helmet speaker. We go dirt bike riding and sometimes get split up or one of us might go off on our own while the rest stay at camp. This is a great idea for those times since we are in the mountains and might now know where the other is. The 'machine' hooks on the outside of the helmet while the speakers and microphone attach inside the helmet with velcro straps. I haven't been able to test in on the helmet as it is in the trailer but I was able to connect it to my phone easily. I was able to make a phone call using it and it went through well. I also played songs from my phone using Alexa. The volume was good and so was the clarity. It also has an FM radio function which I hadn't realized it had when I gotit. It is ok. Takes awhile to scan through the channels but really it is a bonus because I didn't know it had it anyway. You can turn the volume up or down and answer calls from the buttons on the outside portion.

This EJEAS E1 helmet speaker is a win for what it costs. I installed it in my full face MTB helmet. This only took 15 minutes. After reading through the included manual, I connected the speaker to my phone. The button combination for volume, skip song, play, stop took a little bit to get familiar with. But pretty easy to remember and use while riding. The speakers are slightly thick for an MTB helmet. I thought this was going to be a negative issue as they slightly touched my ears. After the first ride, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t bother me. The benefit is the sound quality is much better being closer to the ear. Yet, you can still hear your surroundings just fine. Overall, this is surprisingly a great product for the price. I was very skeptical at first. Bluetooth works great, battery life is excellent, sound quality is very nice with music and audio books. Much better experience when riding than an in ear speaker.
