Why does this have so many ingredients that have nothing to do with iron?

Mark S. explained it so well, like he did for a child. I couldn't have explained it better. There is a reason for all these ingredients. It is called "Chemistry"

Says 325 mg on label then 65 mg on "facts" - what does this mean?

The 65 mg refers to the amount of elemental iron rather than the entire compound's weight. You are taking it for the elemental iron. The sulfate moiety goes along for the ride to maintain the +2 oxidation state.
