The Only Strap Locks I’ll Ever Use
I’ve been using Jim Dunlop Straploks since 2020, and they’re now the first thing I install on every guitar I buy. I currently have 17 guitars, and every single one of them is fitted with these. The build quality is excellent - solid, reliable, and easy to fit. Once installed, they lock securely and give complete peace of mind when playing. I’ve never had a strap come loose or a guitar take a fall since switching to these. They look great, work flawlessly, and after years of use, they’ve proven to be incredibly durable. Quite simply, nothing else comes close.

Good strap locks
Have a set of these on almost every guitar I have. Do kind of wish it was a little lower profile but these have never failed me yet.

Been using these since the 90s.
I’ve been using Jim Dunlop Straploks for close to 30 years now and I still swear by them. Every one of my guitars has the strap buttons installed, probably around 20 guitars at this point. One of the nice things is you can buy the buttons separately, so you only need one or two straps and can swap them between guitars in seconds. You can also still use any strap without the Dunlop strap system. They lock in solid and give a lot of peace of mind, especially with heavier guitars. I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times they’ve saved one of my guitars from hitting the floor, but I’m sure it’s been dozens over the years. They’re one of those products you install once and never really think about again because they just work. For me they’ve become standard equipment on every guitar I own.

Peace of Mind
I was not confident that my new strap would stay put on my new guitar so found these and their great reviews to steer me correctly. Install was very easy, just go slow installing the mount studs. I was able to wax the screws and get them home without adding the fear of a drill slip. My new Les Paul Red Widow is good to go and the locks natural pivot movements make sliding over my head that much easier. Money spent only once if you choose these.

Great product, but does not fit PRS guitars.
As a session guitarist/bassist, I have a rack full of guitars and basses that I am constantly switching between during recording sessions. I ALWAYS use a strap when I play, and for a long time, I was just using the traditional type that slips over the stock strap buttons that come on every guitar. That system worked fine for a while, but I prefer keeping a dedicated strap on each guitar to avoid wearing out the straps and strap buttons, so as my instrument collection grew, the whole system started to become messy and unwieldy. Straps would become tangled, and my guitars wouldn't sit properly in the rack stand and would hang up when I tried to take one out. Perfect recipe for nicks and dents. I decided there had to be a better way. After doing quite a bit of research, I chose to convert all of my guitars and basses over to Dunlop Straploks. The main determining factor for me was that I really liked the push button design, as it would allow me to quickly and easily move a single strap between all of my instruments. I also liked that I could order additional strap buttons at a reasonable cost without having to order more of the full installation kits than I needed. And speaking of installation, the process was was simple and quick. I had my entire collection finished in under an hour. The one issue I did run into with these is that they did not work at all my with PRS Custom 24. PRS uses oversized strap buttons and screws, so the existing screw hole was already too large for the included Straplok screw, and the head of the original PRS screw was just slightly too big to fit through the Straplok button. So I guess I will be keeping the stock strap buttons and a traditional strap on that guitar. Aside from that one problem, these have been really great. Highly recommend.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung! Absolutes Spitzenprodukt! Einfache Handhabung! Sehr gut!
Unbedingte Weiterempfehlung!

Best strap lock ever!
Probably the best strap lock available on the market! The push/lock system is very well made and easy to use when you need to remove it quickly without worrying about the safety of your guitar. **The only negative point that I can flag is about the installation. The ''C clamp lock'' are very difficult to place and if your strap is not thin as mine was, it will be a lot more difficult. You have to take your time and do it well. In my case, I used a plate screw driver to help pushing the C clamp and it did the job pretty well. Once it installed, I guarantee that these's strap lock are the best you'll have for your instrument because they are solid/well made and can't loose as the C clamp is cliped there and so it don't depend on a nut screwed as some other strap lock model have. Personnaly, I have tried many model of strap lock for my guitar and these are definitely my favorite.

Jim dunlop nickel straplocksdual design
