Autofocus 4K Digital Microscope, 8" TM4K-AF Flex Arm for Soldering

This is a great microscope for the price. The swivel arm is very sturdy and convenient. The microscope itself is attached to the monitor, unfortunately build quality feels like very cheap plastic. The microscope attaches to the swivel arm and has a rail with a knob to make fine up and down adjustments for the microscope without having to move the whole arm up and down. Aside from it feeling cheap it seems to do its job very well. I can have it hovering about 4” from the object for a close up image, or if I need more space I can move it higher and use the digital zoom to get the view I need. The image quality is good and the auto focus is very useful, but it also has manual focus in case you need it. It has two gooseneck lights that can be adjusted from a narrow to a wider beam. It also has a ring light around the microscope to focus the light better on whatever it is you are trying to view. The brightness for all three are adjustable and get pretty bright. Aside from the cheap feel of the microscope itself, I am very pleased with this microscope.

The quality for the price is absolutely fantastic. I use this for watchmaking and have been very happy with the results, and my clients love getting updates showing such great detail. I HIGHLY recommend you mount it to a surface not attached to your work space, though, as any collisions with the bench or table are going to cause some pretty serious shake in any video you're capturing (as one would expect under magnification).

Just received this product and started testing it out. What I like: 1) Easy setup 2) Every is metal and feels solid 3) Comes with everything you need (e.g., the HDMI cable) plus a light shield 4) LED lights are bright and easily adjustable 5) Menu was easy to figure out and responsive 6) Manual is pretty good albeit there are some small grammatical errors but nothing that caused any confusion 7) Good picture quality (at least for my needs) 8) Came with a 32GB microSD card installed 9) Was already fully charged 10) Easily adjust LED brightness via sliding touch sensor on bade There are a few things that I think can be improved: 1) USB power cable is quite short and I need to use an extension cord to plug it in. 2) If you want to charge the battery you need to plug the power into the monitor and then when you use it you plus the monitor into the base. However, if you want to run it while plugged in, you need to connect power to the base and then from the base to the monitor. This isn't difficult, just a little inconvenient. 3) When tightening the height adjustment, it changes the height slightly so you many need to set it slightly lower and then tighten it to get the best picture quality. 4) Monitor stand threads (to connect to the base) should be a little longer so that it can screw in further while still pointing forward. 5) microSD card can be difficult to get back in and one time started going in on a strange vertical angle I haven't tried the video/storage yet, but so far I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Works as described. Am able to see what I'm working with. Haven't hooked it to a tv via HDMI yet but could imagine that is be able to see even better. Love that the lights are dimmable

I love it. The arm articulated really well and holds the scope. The scope works great. Would buy again. The only thing they could fix is when you have it plugged into the computer it will not allow the menu or recording from the scope. It also will not allow the zoom feature on the pc connected if you plan to record. But if you just use independent then it works great. One more thing. It doesn’t have a large view area. It’s very specific. I would like to zoom out as much as possible. Maybe an update could help some of it. Also please make fisheye lenses for this unit. With a different lens like the other scopes digital. You could have a wider view by install but I havnt seen them for sale independently. Only if you buy the inferior scope from them.

The product images here are staged and you will not have as crisp of a high quality image like the images indicate. It's still decent, but look at the images that other customers have posted on their reviews for a more realistic presentation of the image quality. I got this to replace an older model and while it is an upgrade, it is not as much of an upgrade as the product listing had me believing. Also because the dimensions aren't super obvious, keep in mind that since this is fixed on a post the item you are trying to look at will have to be within about 2.5-3" from the edge. If you have a larger circuit board or other rigid item with the object in the center of it you will probably not be able to get it under the camera

The TOMLOV DM202 3K I bought takes excellent photos of our crystal and fossil finds. It worked flawlessly to transfer photos to a PC via a USB-C cable. Customer support helped me resolve an issue when after 8 months it failed to turn on (had to reset the microscope by pressing the reset button on the back and it then powered on normally).

My review is based on the unit I received and the non response from the company and return policies in place. I received one that wouldn't power on until I plugged it in to charge, dies soon after power cord is unplugged. The item I got looked used, someone tried out the table clamp without applying the sticker pad on it first so there was clear scratching on the clamp indicative of a used item but sold to me as new. Other tell tale signs of having been used and returned and resold was the screen protector was misaligned and all bubbly like that of a screen protector taken off and re applied later. I was willing to keep it IF they would give me some kind of partial refund for this highly expensive used item but they refused and insisted I return it. Then an agent said I might not get all of My money back if it is returned in used condition. Well DUHH, I received it used so it will be returned used. If it wasnt for the power problem and clearly having been used I might have kept it but wasn't going to keep something this highly priced and have it die on me down the road. It's too bad because other than that I kinda liked it. I did get my money back.
