Salt & Cedar Deodorant, 75 ml | Aluminum & Alcohol Free, 72 Hour Odor Control, Smooth + Comfortable Glide, Shea Butter & Coconut Oil

The review is based on 7 years of my wife and I using natural deodorants. 7 years ago we decided to start reducing and eliminating all chemicals, FFPEs, plastics, from our home, especially because we were starting to thing about having children. The first thing we changed was our deodorant but back then natural deodorants were rare. We found Native who at the time were only based in the US but did ship to the UK. It worked brilliantly and we loved the scents for men and women. Please note that if you're using natural deodorants for the first time that they can take 1-2 weeks to work as your armpits need to expel all the rubbish you've been pumping into them for years. Anyway, Native soon after we started buying from them stopped shipping to the UK and there weren't any distributors in the UK. So for 6ish years my wife and I have tried many many different brands (Salt of the Earth, MooGoo,Bulldog,Wyld, some others I can't remember the name of) with all varying levels of effectiveness. Some didn't work at all, and some were more or less as good as Native, but didn't have a nice scent. In short, we're really happy that Native are now selling on Amazon. £12 is £4 more than we were paying 7 years ago ( and that included shipping from the US ) but we feel that £12 is worth it as it is by far the most effective deodorant we have ever used and their scents are the best. Just to add, I use it once everyday and it lasts 10-11 weeks.

Don’t buy. I had such high hopes for this but it’s like a balm that is really dry. A beautiful smelling one a when you first open it but after a days use I had really bad BO which I never get! I shower daily. It was a mix of coconut and BO and sickly sweat smell. I have never had problems with a smell under my armpits and only bought as I like the idea of natural ingredients. I had a shower and scrubbed a good few times only to come out the shower and there was still a sticky dry residue with what I can only describe as BO smell stuck under it. I took another shower and had to apply normal sure deodorant to get the smell away and have since went back to my normal salt of the earth natural deodorant( yes it’s a bit watery but at least works and does not stain my clothes! This weird balm stained my good top and won’t come out in the wash. Do not waste your money….. especially at the price they charge.

I used to order this from the manufacturers in the USA, but they stopped shipping to the UK for some reason. It's been great to find it again on Amazon in the scent I like. It is kind to skin, cruelty free and has no 'nasties' in it. One application lasts all day. It is easy to use and applies easily.

Does ok job in not too hot of weather. It's not antiperspirant, so manage your expectations. But does so ok job to prevent excessive sweating. It's worth 70-80% solution so you don't put chemicals on your armpits every day

This deodorant smells great. light, fresh, and natural without being overpowering. It doesn’t include additives like BHT or Octocrylene, which is a big plus if you’re avoiding harsh ingredients. It has been effective at keeping odour away throughout the day, with twice-daily use. After about two months, I still have roughly a quarter of the stick left, so it lasts well despite the small size. It is on the expensive side, but the quality and clean formulation make it worth considering.

For some sitting at home, light walk, cold environment - amazing, smell great However, forget about any fitness, hiking or warm environment - absolutely useless deodorant. It's a shame actually. Really smells nice otherwise. But definitely not great for an active lifestyle

I used to buy native deodorant from the US, they no longer distribute to Europe. I have been asking friends and family to purchase me on their trips to the US. Amazon then started to sell it but (at the time) was around £23. I couldn’t justify spending this much. I purchased this last week for £14, still a little pricey but I have nearly ran out so it was a must. The fragrance is amazing-I often voice “I can smell coconut” then realise it’s me! It goes on like a dream, dries quickly, no irritation, no marks on clothes and the smell lasts all day. I have used other fragrances from native but do keep coming back to this one, the scent is still there when I get into bed each evening! I have been using native for 5 years now and will never go back to anything else.

It just works when others dont!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Native Deo Coconut & Vanilla. Der Duft ist angenehm warm, frisch und erinnert an Sommer – die Kombination aus Kokos und Vanille gefällt mir richtig gut. Es riecht nicht künstlich und fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an. Besonders schön finde ich, dass der Duft dezent bleibt und trotzdem lange angenehm wahrnehmbar ist. Ich habe das Produkt auch auf meinem Instagram geteilt, weil ich meine Beauty-Favoriten gerne mit meiner Community ausprobiere und teile. ✨

Love the brand.. great scent .. keeps odor away

This says natural deodorant. It contains so many harmful chemicals including ozokerite, a known carcinogen. This is false advertising and I want a refund. How can you be a natural deodorant with an ingredient called tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes.
