Dragon Walking Stick

Great stick for every day use. Great quality as usual.

I love this, didn't cut it down but grip it like a walking staff instead of a cane. Nice weight and sturdiness to this.

Even though I am six feet tall, I still had to cut 4.5 inches from the bottom to get this cane sized. Then I cut strips of sandpaper and began pulling them back and forth, 100 strokes on one side, and 100 on the other, until the diameter was down to 1", and I could fit a tip. I added the tripod tip shown in Amazon, then painted the entire cane with Krylon metallic black. It looks great and works great; even though I weigh over 200 pounds, there is no problem at all with it supporting me..

I have been looking for a cane with a right-angle handle for sometime. I am a teacher at a multi-storied high school and must climb and walk down stairs most of the day. This cane has proven to be just what I have been looking for. I have owned and used Cold Steel canes for a number of years. The right -angled handle allows a secure grip, especially for use on the stairs. It is large and heavy enough to support a large man like me but still not too heavy to use all day. It is also a very interest cane with great detail that is often noticed - many of my students have comment that it looks "cool." I have used (and still own)the City Stick, African Walking Stick, and Irish Blackthorn Walking Stick and find this to be the best cane to date. Cost is reasonable. It will not be for everyone as it is large, but for those looking for something beyond an old wooden cane or the plastic drug store cane this is for you. Cold Steel Dragon Walking Stick

I bought this as a RBSD practitioner who developed a pinched nerve that effects me if I am on my feet for long periods of time. The stick does well helping me get around. It is also quite cool looking! I have messed around with it the past few weeks and the weight distribution and handling is amazing. I know if I ever have use it to defend myself or my family I will KO someone. The one issue I had, and reason for only 4 instead of 5 stars, is despite being touted as near indestructible I somehow managed to lose a dragon's tooth even though I never have actually hit anything with it. All my training with it has been "shadow training" with no actual strikes. The hardest hit it has taken is when it slide and hit the ground after I leaned it against the wall. I am unaware of when the tooth broke so I have no idea what actually did it. But overall I am extremely satisfied. Now if Cold Steel would only re-release the skull handle city stick.

I don't normally leave any (positive) reviews here, but this is an item that deserves it. Cold Steel did a great job with this thing. I liked it the moment I saw it.

This thing is huge. In the pics it doesn't look nearly as bulky as it is but MAN is this thing HUGE and pretty heavy for a cane. Out of the box it's also too tall for most people to use comfortably. This matters because if you cut an inch off the bottom then you can't fit any rubber tips on the bottom (at least not the normal tips I use on my other cane). Without rubber tips this thing just skitters on any smooth floor. Works fine on rough surfaces and carpet. The head is very wide and the shape of the head is not one which the human hand naturally contours to. I found it uncomfortable use in almost every way. If I wasn't going to cost so much to send it back I'd send it back. I can't fathom a time when I might ever use this thing again. If I need a club to smash something with THIS is the dragon headed cane I'll grab. If I fall into a wormhole in time and end up in ancient Mayan this cane would convince the natives to let me be high priest. I think the snake motif may scare birds in the garden, so it might be good for that. Other than that it will be collecting dust in the closet. It's too bad because the design is cool and that dragon head is fierce. The cane is very well made, the molding on it was flawless and the detail is excellent. If they slimmed it down by about 25% it would be a great cane, but as it is it's like carrying a black plastic 2x4 around. Still, it's a very well made and molded black plastic 2x4. I hope Cold Steel makes a slimmer model at some point.

こんなの誰も買わないだろう！と思ったので買いました。コールドスチール製品についてはわざわざ買うほどの人には説明は不要だと思うのですが、ポリカーボネート製の一連の商品は壊れにくくて良いと思います。

Der Dragon Walking Stick von Cold Steel ist sehr schön verarbeitet, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Als Wanderstock für längere Strecken ist er eher nicht so geeignet denke ich mal, aber zur Selbstverteidigung sehr gut geeignet. Das Material ist super, leicht und super stabil, halt unverwüstlich. Zum Üben für die Selbstverteidigung sehr gut geeignet und ich übe die Tai Chi Spazierstock Form damit und habe viel Spaß dabei. Einen Spaziergang habe ich mit dem Dragon Walking Stick noch nicht unternommen, werde den Dragon Walking Stick für das Tai Chi Chuan Training nutzen. Es gibt leider keinen Tai Chi Stock von Cold Steel, daher ist meine Wahl auf den Dragon Walking Stick gefallen. Den Dragon Walking Stick kann ich nur empfehlen. und würde Ihn mir wieder kaufen.

シャレで買ったけど長くてデカくて重くて杖としては使い難い。オブジェとしてならアリだと思います。
