I don’t know why Ninja would stop making this vacuum juicer. I have been juicing with a Vitamix for years and have always been concerned with oxidation- which is why I never juice the night before and always drink straight away. Now I am able to make two drinks and save one for tomorrow without losing nutritional value or texture! And it isn’t $599!! The machine works great. Mine was definitely new- not a renewed item. NOTE: you don’t have to use 6 AA batteries. They sell an adapter for it but I got a universal/adjustable AC adapter for $20 and it is fantastic. I too was concerned with performance when batteries are running lower. I love the ‘smoothie’ button. It does a a few long pulses for you to better gather the ingredients. I no longer have to babysit the blend. Incredible!! I love everything about this blender. Of course, keep the little seal clean and dry for max vacuum. And read the fricken directions!! Easy to use and clean. Noise wasn’t bad at all in my opinion. People are generally more likely to complain than give kudos. As far as the review being gimmicky- I have not tried one cup with and one without vacuum. But the juice I refrigerate for the next day does not separate like the ones I have made with the vitamix did. I too always use beets- as well as spinach, protein powder, various adaptogens, blueberries & raspberries, and ice. I like to make one for now and one for tomorrow. The one for tomorrow, I will vacuum both before and after blending because you can’t pull the air out of the ice. You can visualize the air being pulled all through the layers of liquid. I run a THIRD vacuum on the refrigerated cup before I go to bed. It’s so quick and easy to do! *Somehow, there is air either seeping in or producing inside. Overall, there is far less oxidation with this system than without so I am thrilled with it.

This is my first ever blender purchase, and I've got to say - I am very impressed. I grew up in a health nut family that used one of those loud Vitamix blenders that get all hot if you use them for too long, but have great blending power. This Nutri Ninja is exactly what we needed. We're not typically grinding anything too hard though, just making smoothies with frozen fruit. I have had to run the blend cycle a couple times before just to get all the chunks blended, but it's not a big deal and is most likely due to me loading it too full. Plus, we even had to do that with the Vitamix, so not a big deal for any blender. When we put fresh berries inside I notice it doesn't blend all the seeds, but I personally don't mind that. Didn't bother using the freshvac, as it seemed kinda gimmicky. I like that it comes with two smoothie cups and lids, and the cup itself is relatively easy to clean, but beware that gunk can get trapped under the little plastic vacuum seal portion at the bottom, so take it out to clean the cup fully. Overall, very happy with this blender, and would recommend to anyone who loves quick smoothies.

I spent a lot of time looking at reviews when shopping for a blender and ultimately chose this one despite some of the negative comments about the fresh vac technology. I hope this review is helpful to others. Yes...the blender is noisy but ALL BLENDERS ARE NOISY. If you don’t want a noisy blender, don’t get a blender. This is no more noisy than any other blender I’ve owned. You have to pay attention to fill lines. If you want it to blend properly, don’t fill past the line. This also impacts the vacuum technology. Some of the reviewers complained about it sucking up milk...that’s because they overfilled it. I haven’t had any problems once I discovered this. I also made pina coladas in it using the vacuum and, where they always got foamy before, I didn’t have that issue so it does something right. I don’t use it all the time but it does work. I will say that it is easier to wash this in the dishwasher than by hand. That’s my only complaint if you can call it that. Overall, this is a great unit at a great price and I’m glad I bought it. I make smoothies for my girlfriend and myself every morning before work and just screw on the flip top lids and off we go. Awesome! Buy with confidence and ignore reviewers suffering from user error.

I gave this 4 stars, but given the chance, I most likely would not trade it out for another blender. My last blender was also a Ninja and they are seriously powerful and durable. This definitely gives the Vitamix a run for its money. That being said, starting a lawn mower in your kitchen might be quieter. Every time a run it, I'm worried I will wake the dead. It is SO loud - so much louder than our last Ninja. So I guess it's good that it comes with a FreshVac so you can make your smoothie the night before and let your neighborhood (nay, zip code) sleep in. (Though I have not used the FreshVac much, as it was not a huge selling point for me.) Also, while the cups are dishwasher safe, I wish I had hand washed them from the start because the outer smooth coating degraded after ~3 months. (They won't melt, they just won't feel as nice. Just like aging nalgenes.)

Best blender on the market. I have it for more than a month doing 2 to 3 shakes daily. -Power: it have more than enough power to blend anything. - Easy to clean -the vacuum idea works really well, I try it with and without vacuum. Vacuum makes the drinks more smoother no seeds at all, liquids will not separate even after long time and keep the drinks colors same for long time. -No leaks at all.

My previous smoothie blender broke so I chose this one based on price, brand recognition, and size (I have very limited counter space). This blends frozen fruits and veggies with ease and does it in less time than my blender did. There are good setting options for blending and liquefying. The base has suction cups to hold it place, which I find helpful. The FreshVac is easy to use and I like it. When cleaning the blending unit, I make sure to take all the rubber pieces out, clean them also.

I have had this personal blender since January and it has been a huge disappointment. First the good part, its an incredibly strong blender that has plenty of power. We love the smoothie key that you just push and it automatically runs a program that does a nice job of mixing the ingredients. The problem, and its a big one, is that the fresh vac is a total waste of time and the cylinders leak! We tested making smoothies with and without using freshvac and there is NO difference its just a gimmick. They even fooled me into buying (which is extra) the power cord for the fresh vac. The batteries are too weak to really work well. But bottom line the fresh vac doesn't do anything and the bottom of the containers leak like crazy after a few uses! I even called Ninja and there customer service was great and sent me 2 new containers which also leak!! The base unit is also really hard to clean which I have to do every time I make a smoothie because of the leaking! DONT go for this model its a waste! I bought my son the model without the fresh vac and it works great.

My son had one of these and I used it at his house. I had to buy one immediately! So convenient and small, I don't get that bloated feeling from too much air being in my protein shake. It is the best blender I've ever bought. I always add spinach to my protein drink and it purees it so much I don't even know it's there, except for the color of course.

This little guy is amazing, blender settings are automatic and work great. Extractor setting is best for dense veg.

It is easy to use once you read the instructions. It makes very smooth smoothies. It looks great, the preset from smart IQ is awesome. It looks futuristic and has plenty of power. You can use the FreshVac with batteries or with a DC cord if you have one lying around as it is not included in the box. It does include batteries in the box which is nice. It comes with two cups (24oz) and 2 lids, but only one blade. It also comes with a little booklet that has smoothie recopies and area for notes in the end. Overall I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.
