I love this trimmer. I used it to trim a ton of branches off of a really obnoxious tree that I'm trying to tame, and it worked extremely well. I DID however, somewhat ignore the branch size recommendations, got a little too ambitious, and bent the metal when I tried to very aggressively cut something that I shouldn't have but that was MY fault and not the trimmer haha I've already ordered a replacement (of this exact same one!) and consider it a lesson learned. Highly recommend - just don't try to get your anger out on branches that are too big for the string pull cutter. lol

The saw blade is really not very useful because it’s flimsy. But the branch cutter works great. I did all the limbing of a large tree by myself. I found extending the pole to reach the ground helped to free both arms a bit so I had more strength pulling the rope to cut larger branches. I filled an entire green waste bin after trimming down the branches

It is well made and easy to assemble. It was a gift for my son in law and d worked perfectly

Terrible. Super cheap - got literally 5 small branches cut before it just stopped the recoil function to reset the standard edge blade and had to reset the sheer/blade for every single chop - so you can't continuously cut - you have to bring it down each time and reset. tried loosening, tightening and greasing. nothing. Just cheap - tossed it after first use.

I like it. It's strong, sturdy, and gets the job done very easily. Got it for my extremely overgrown Macintosh Apple tree. Was capable of reaching the top, and pruning this thing down to professional orchard size in less than 2 hours by myself. Ladder not needed.

The lever for the cutter is made of weak material. But the big problem is the lack of customer support and replacement parts. I think this is a phantom company like so many sellers on Amazon. My cutter lever broke and I can't get them to email me or otherwise supply the part for a fee.

Assembly was super easy. Love that you can adjust pole length by adding or removing sections. Went through the limbs like butter.
