Janie B Jones books are so entertaining. I know some Christian parents struggle with her obnoxious behaviors and do not allow the books to be read. I read them aloud to my preschoolers and they laugh over the silly parts, like the children putting toilet paper on their thankful list and any behaviors we don't view as appropriate we simply discuss as a group. Junie B Jones great series!
My grand daughter loves Junie B Jones books! Always excited to get new books of her and her adventures! I had gotten these books for her mother at this age and now she loves talking about what she even remembers reading 35 years ago!! Love these books

My daughter loves the June B books. She thought this one was amusing and it made me laugh to read out loud to her as well imagining a kindergarten class brainstorming what they are most thankful for.

My 8-yr-old loves these books. They’re a quick read for her & perfect for independent reading time. The different, standalone stories keep her interested & excited for each book!

My daughter and I love this searies.
A great way to get a young child into reading books without images. She was resistant at first, but has fallen in love and it's activated a new part of her imagination. I bought this one as a new Thanksgiving holiday tradition. I read some of these books to our young foster kids too and they loved them as well. My 1st grade 7 year old is able to participate in reading these books as well. VERY exciting.

Cute for beginning reader
Barbara Park knew how to capture the funny, innocent, social awkwardness of being young. Junie B is every parent's nightmare. She is not a naughty child. She is simply learning how to navigate in a big world full of unwritten rules about what a young child should and shouldn't say and do. The story is simple and well written. The vocabulary is great for an early reader. I have to admit I am not fond of Junie's tart little sayings at times. I do not allow my kids to use words like "stupid" which are thrown around liberally in the book. I have made clear to my kids they can read Junie B, but if I ever hear Junie B-ish words coming from their mouths, Junie B will find herself at the half price bookstore on the corner.

This was the last book I needed for my collection and I chose used like new and it looked like they hadn’t even opened the cover yet. It was in perfect condition and my daughter loves these books
