Jekyll & Hyde - The Musical

I love the power, the lyricism, the beauty of this musical. The vocal selections book offers above average piano reductions of an operatic score. Some of the songs are reduced too greatly, and this may disappoint the more accomplished pianist. As a whole, the music is moderately challenging. If one uses the transcription as a guide, the fairly talented pianist can take this music and recreate the beauty of the orchestra. Four and a half stars may be more appropriate for this work, however, as some liberties may have been taken by the writers (as noted in other reviews). Enjoy!

Love the music from this show!. I bought this copy because one of my students obviously loved my previous copy and still has it. Great for teaching, the music for this show is comprised of lyrical songs that appeal to students as well as to me.

this purchase was awesome. one of the best things about buying a used book is that it stays open ... like, the pages stay turned. the second best thing is the notations of the previous owner, my copy of jekyll and hyde has character!

I was looking for one song and found this book with all the songs from Jekyll and Hyde The Musical...Happy as can be. I have never seen Jekyll and Hyde but there is some great music. I'm VERY HAPPY I bought this. I'm learning to play some beautiful songs! Thanks

I love this musical, but this collection is missing one of my favorite songs: The World Has Gone Insane. Good for a Essential collection, but somewhat lacking for avid fans.

If you are fond of the music in this broadway production, you will love these pieces. Not difficult to play, but not too easy. Highly recommend.

I use this in my vocal studio. The printed vocal selections book is quite nice with photos of the Broadway production, and the music notesetting is very good and easy to read.

Leider gibt es für dieses tolle Stück keine deutschen Noten, also hab ich mich für diese Variante entschieden. Beim Durchspielen kann man leicht die deutschen Texte nach und nach einfügen. Gut geschrieben und gut zu spielen!

Alive! is abridged in this, which is the song I primarily got this one for. Wish there was an option to preview or indication of that but I'll be returning.

Excellent quality book with all the songs I need to learn, would recommend to singers and musicians who love Jekyll and Hyde.
