CAMECHO 7" Double Din Car Stereo Audio Bluetooth MP5 Player USB FM Multimedia Radio+ 4 LED Mini Backup Camera with Steering Wheel Remote Support Mobile Phone Synchronization (Used in Android/iOS)

​I picked up this CAMECHO 7" Double Din stereo to modernize my daily driving experience, and for the price, this unit absolutely overdelivers. It packs a ton of features into an affordable package and completely transformed my dash. Here is my breakdown after the first four days of using it: ​Day 1: Installation & Wiring I installed this CAMECHO 7-inch unit in my 2009 Ford Ranger. Because I am already very comfortable doing custom electrical modifications and running my own wiring, sorting out the provided harness and splicing it into the truck was a straightforward weekend project. The unit fit well into the double din dash opening. Having a physical volume knob on the left side of the screen is a massive plus for keeping your eyes on the road while driving. ​Day 2: Bluetooth & Audio Quality Once powered up, the interface is highly responsive. Connecting my phone via Bluetooth was instant, and the audio quality streaming my music is a noticeable step up from the factory radio. The touchscreen is bright and clear, making it easy to navigate between the FM tuner, MP5 player, and Bluetooth audio menus without any annoying lag. ​Day 3: Testing the Mirror Link Sync This unit uses Mobile Phone Synchronization (Mirror Link) rather than native Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which works exactly as advertised. By plugging my phone in via USB, it mirrors my screen directly to the 7-inch display. This is incredibly useful for pulling up maps for navigation or accessing specific apps directly on the dash screen. ​Day 4: Backup Camera & Steering Wheel Remote I spent the final day routing the wire for the included 4 LED Mini Backup Camera to the rear bumper. The camera quality is surprisingly good, and the LEDs provide enough illumination to make backing up at night much safer. Additionally, the included steering wheel remote is a brilliant touch—especially for older vehicles that lack built-in steering wheel controls. I got a Mechanic friend to install this unit for me and it works great. He could never get the camera to connect, but I don’t think it was the company‘s fault. I think it was his not knowing but it works great thank you the screen quality is good the remote control. I have not tried it, but it fits perfectly on the steering wheel. It feels like a very doable piece of peace for my car.

I know it's a cheap price and you get what you pay for, but c'mon, this thing isn't even worth 40 cents, let alone $40. Jokes on me I guess, since I was performing some intensive work on my car and the radio doesn't rise above safety. At least not for me anyways. So the return window is closed. The volume knob seems to be having some sort of connection issue or something. Because I couldn't seem to get my speakers to play anything. So I rip the WHOLE interior of my car apart and start tracing and checking all the connection, again. Couldn't find anything wrong. So I think maybe the settings might be the issue. So I start going thru all the options and menus on the head unit. Which is also frustrating as hell, because I can only seem to be able to bring up a couple of the menus after touching the icons. All the other ones will not do anything. I'll touch them and nothing happens. Literally only two of them actually did something, but I still couldn't get my speakers to work. So I start troubleshooting the amp, speakers, the whole system. As I'm trying to play something and was cycling thru the inputs by pushing the power button above the volume knob, I touched the volume knob and heard a crackle. So I start turning the knob (No, it wasn't because the volume was just turned down. It was at about 25 through all my troubles.) At certain points I could get the speakers to work, if I held the knob a certain way. Obviously not gonna be feasible while driving. Being as I can't return it, I'm stuck with it. I guess I'll have to take it apart and see if it might be a weak solder joint or something that's detectable amd fixable. Well see. But I wish that I never bothered with this garbage. Rear view camera doesn't work either. Looks like China got me again. Don't make the same mistakes as I have, stay away from this head unit.

People seem to be coming into this item; the literal cheapest 2 DIN multi-source stereo head unit on Amazon at the moment, with a whole buttload of expectations. If you're like me, who knows you don't get nice stereos for $30, then perhaps your expectations ended at physically receiving something in a box that resembled a car stereo. Let's take it from there. I messed up the stereo in my '05 Make Model trying to do a custom mod to it that quite frankly, I shouldn't have, and needed a replacement. I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to finding something I need when there's a wide range of options for it, and the more I research I do, comparing and contrasting my options, the less decisions that get made by me. The quick bypass to all that is to just buy the cheapest option. So, considering that I'd only destroyed car radios at this point and had negative experience with installing them to working order; cheapest was gonna be sacrificial lamb for the cause. I was hoping to be able to connect my iPhone to something via Bluetooth and playback music from the Plex iOS app, or Soundcloud, etc., and therefore that's all I was planning to install for it. Meaning, not messing around with radio/antenna, rear view cam, etc. Just keeping it bare bones. I wasn't aware-- and hadn't really thought about it-- that I needed to get a separate harness to connect the wires from the A/B harnesses that go into the back of this stereo unit, to connect to one that matches the harness going into my car's guts from the vacant stereo console. So, I ordered one of those after realizing this didn't come with that along with some Solder Seal connectors, then matched the wires appropriately, sealed'em up, happy as a clam. Also ended up needing some universal mounting ear brackets which fit fine into the screw holes on the sides of this unit, got it mounted up in the console, gave'er some electric; blue illumination emitted from the screen; we were in business. So yeah press the button-button a few times til it says Bluetooth, grab my iPhone > Settings > Bluetooth > Connect. Connected; I am. Next step, give it some of the Devil's Music. The Devil's Music; it receives. Now here's the straightforward part of this review: -There's some faint low-decibel static while in Bluetooth mode when nothing's playing. I don't believe this is due to any wiring faults or anything related to the instillation; it's just the byproduct of a cheap Bluetooth module in a cheap stereo. Again; expectations. I don't love that it's there but I'm over it too. All things considered; it succeeds at doing the thing I got it to do. -Note that when connected by Bluetooth; you'll have two volume controls: +/- Vol on your device, and then the volume encoder dial on the stereo itself. I'm an audio person so I'm aware of the concept of gain staging; however this may lead to some confusion for some concerning dialing in the proper levels and how these factors effect sound quality. You're on your own there. Just saying; don't expect turning up the volume on your phone to control the stereo's level too. This doesn't work like that. I'll probably end up getting something nicer eventually; however, I can say that, thanks to this item, I now more or less know how to install an aftermarket stereo in my car, and can listen to music in it from my phone via Bluetooth like I wanted to. Since I wasn't buying an item with quality in mind, this thing checks out just fine.

Ok, so first things first. It does "technically" work fairly well. Radio tunes in stations, Bluetooth hooks up quick, sd and usb seem to hook up fine. It actually powered my old stock 25watt speakers well. Enough to finish them off. So it has decent power. Not enough to run my new ds18's rated at 50w rms 150max... The screen. looks.. ok... For the price, I shouldn't complain. But I will anyway. I will use it while it lasts, but at some point, in the end, it will be $50 I could have put towards a more refined deck. Worst I can say really is MEH. Best I can say is YEH thats pretty cool. Oh and sometimes. Grrrr!!! So that's not too bad of a review, is it? The thing is, that this deck is just clunky and quirky. The volume knob has a nice clicky feeling. Like it feels tacktile, like you know its is turning. Problem is that sometimes turning up, the volume kinda bounces down? And for me, the audio settings, should be a panel you can pull or open at any time over any screen or app. On Bluetooth you hit a button and it switches to audio settings. Thats ok. Using sd card and/or video you have to back out to home screen and goto settings. This stops playback completely. Audio pauses when reverse cam comes on. Prolly standard for safety or something, but I never knew I back up so much. In audio settings panel, I have to tap the bass slider just right. Note that I said tap not slide. No, slide the bass slider, or tap wrong, it makes the balance go full left, front. Tap tap tap back to center. Like16 taps. And the screen doesn't take fast taps. i can't get mirror screen thing working. I have seen no way of adding and setting my own background image. Etc. Etc. For now, going to get another pair of ds18 speakers for my doors and a new 4chan. amp to run those. Existing 800w amp running 2 x 10 inch subs in an isobaric cabinet. (currently 2 OLD Blaupunkts) debating on new 10's or getting a dual coil 15 and building a cabinet. Once all setup again, I'll put all my favorite tunes and vids on sd, set my audio setting on the deck and never touch it again. Control bass level with the remote knob. Then start researching for a different deck.

Photo of open box contents. No mounting hardware, at all. Used my own back up camera. Turns on and off automatically, no matter the state of the tuner. PRO: Price, less than $50. Has steering wheel remote AND card remote. Both worked. Back up camera worked, and displayed well. Blue Tooth calls worked fine. USB music works, but is clunky to operate and change songs. 60 x 4 watts. Small chassis was easy to install. No Comment Did not use steering wheel input. Used supplied remotes only. Did not install sub woofer Did not use aux video input, or output. CONS Wiring diagram was not clear. EACH wire should have a description. Had to figure it out from the sticker, manual, and other advertisers. See the attached photo. No AM radio. UPDATE: dash illumination has failed. Can't see the touch screen any more. Radio / bluetooth / USB all still work, but in "mystery" mode (you pick by listening). Not sure if I should complain given the price. UPDATE 2: bought another unit to replace the failed one. Still a good value, but beware of the quality.

Pros excelent , low price, therefor not lowering the 5 *, good sound, good FM radio Cons manual very poor, lot's of errors for wiring, connector description is wrong! Full of useless blablabla didn't fit in 2DIN, it's 3mm too high! the sidewalls are conical, therefor you'll have some trouble to align the holders of your car the 2 different remote controls are useless, you need to look at the tiny knobs, just to find them, because there is no feedback or prompt sound, very dangerous while driving! the main on/off switch changes it's color permanently: red, green, yellow, blue... annoying and distracting, can't find out, how to disable these mouse-disco-lights --- I didn't try the cam nor the AUX, USB, TF, nor the BT options for my phone Advice to Manufacturer: throw away the useless RCs, use the saved money to improve -the cabling with standard male connector to 10 and 6 pin femals found in most (japanese) cars for power and speakers -add conical (plastic) shims to adjust a correct 90° mounting -make a better and CORRECT manual Advice to users: don't use the the ILL input, it darkens the display if you running at daytime with your headlight, because rain, snow, fog... use the soft button instead - Anyhow, I like these Radio and because of the good price, I won't lower the 5 Stars P.S. Meanwhile I try the Backup-Cam. I got a converter gadget for the Backup-Cam of my Toyota Ractis. This special Toyota cam uses some 6V(?) (not 12V) which are supplied by the original only japanese speaking radio, but my new radio didn't supply the strange Toyota voltage. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVWBMDX6 with this 12/6(?)V CamAdapter it works excelent. Got this to replace a non functional boss double den that the previous owner had installed in my obs F350. I hate touch screens but I wanted something affordable and Bluetooth with a backup camera because my truck is over 20’ long and has about a hundred foot turn radius. The Bluetooth works great and syncs right up to my phone as soon as I get close to the truck. The touch screen works great and is very responsive. Doesn’t feel cheap. Now I installed this myself so this next part could be user error. Or the face that my truck is 30 years old and may have a bad antenna. But ALL the radio stations have static and when they come in they are noticeably decreased in audio quality. I can get out of this truck hearing static and get into my ranger with the radio on the same station and it sounds crisp and crystal clear. Maybe I didn’t install the antenna correctly into the back of the radio or maybe my truck antenna is malfunctioning. Car radios are not hard to install so idk how I could’ve messed that up. Maybe I’ll upgrade in the future but for now I’m happy with this. The backup camera works good but the music stops when you shift into reverse and that’s when the rear camera pops up. Also the radio turns on as soon as you turn the ignition switch. Irritating for someone like me who usually rides in silence. Overall I think the radio is a good deal. It’s $40 so don’t expect this to be anything it’s not haha

This stereo is not Airplay compatible as described. It is also larger than double DIN so will not fit in a double Din sized slot. Every time I try to connect my Iphine to it I have to 'forget device' and start from scratch. Did I mention it's not Airplaqy compatible? WAs pretty much the only reason I bought it, what a waste of time

今まで使っていたのが、9年前のカーナビで、タッチパネルは壊れるは、bluetoothはついていないはで、困っていたが、オーディオだけなら5000円台で購入できることがわかり、購入。 無事 音鳴りました。前のKENWOODより音いいかも。5000円と考えると大満足。 【特記事項】 ・海外から送られるので、届くまでに時間がかかる。 ・線がむき出し。こういうもの？？→ギボシ端子と電工ペンチ購入必要あり。約2000円。 ・当然、オーディオハーネスは購入したほうがいい。800円。 ・リモコンは使えない（ディスプレイの前で操作してやっと反応。直接パネルいじるわ！）。 ・車 取り付け用のネジ穴がおかしい？なんとか車に取り付けました。 ・ダイハツ純正のバックカメラへの接続は難しく、まだ出来ていない。これは、ダイハツ側の問題。 とにかく、5000円という値段を考えると大満足です。
