Usually I apply powder foundation with my own brush because the applicator these compacts come with is awful but the little sponge this comes with actually works really well. It was actually a bit easier to apply with the sponge vs the brush. I have oily skin and I prefer powder over cream or liquid makeup especially during the humid months here. This keeps me looking fresh-faced and bright without feeling greasy or like I have to constantly touch it up. Overall, I really like it. A good light foundation for spring and summer.
