The ingredients of Suma Vegetaian Suet are:-
Non-hydrogenated palm oil (ethically and ecologically sourced),sunflower seed oil and rice flour.
CAUTION...
Packed in an environment that handles nuts,peanuts,sesame,gluten ,soya milk and sulphured fruits.
Suma is the trading name of the Triangle Wholefood Collective and was founded in 1977 so they can be trusted not to greenwash their customers.
They are Fairtrade,organic,ethical and ecological and only stock natural products.

what is the expiary date

There is a best before date which is 9 months away from when purchased.

Question 3

How much of this would you use with gluten free flour to make dumplings? I’ve never made them before and the back of the pack says half and half?

I followed the ratio from de Atora dumplings ( for 50g of suet 100g of self raising GF flour). I also make the mixture thinner than for normal dumplings . But I guess is trial and error.

Hope this answers all your concerns."Where possible every care is taken to ensure we do not use palm oil or palm oil derivatives in our Suma Brand products. Where there is no viable alternative, we only use palm oil that has been RSPO certified. We know that certification is a complex issue and we will keep ourselves up to date with best practice and will work with suppliers to source organic and/or identity preserved palm oil."All Suma Brand products have been assessed by looking at the raw material ingredient specifications and by speaking to the suppliers of all Suma brand products to determine:*	type of palm oil*	type of certification*	percentage of palm in overall ingredientsWe used this information to calculate the overall tonnage of palm products handled for Suma brand products and we will report on this yearly.Only 29 unique product lines out of our entire range of over 1300 Suma Brand products have palm oil in. Within these 29, there are 65 size variations where some lines are packaged in different sizes but have the same recipe of ingredients. We continue to assess if this figure can be reduced and are discussing alternatives with our suppliers.
