GMAT Sentence Correction (Manhattan Prep GMAT Strategy Guides)

This particular strategy guide has helped me out a lot in the course of studying for the GMAT. Not only can it be used to study for the GMAT, I believe that it is a great sentence correction book by itself. I've read other sentence correction books in the past, just to brush up on punctuation and grammar, but none of them were ever as descriptive as this. The chapters covers all the bases and simplified down the concept for you to understand. Also, if you do purchase this book, remember to email them on their main website the order number. Doing this will qualify you for free online practice exams.

This is the best SC resource I have found so far. Just scored a 760 on the GMAT, and this book was a big help for the Sentence Correction section. It really clarified all of the rules that are tested, and how to approach them.

An excelent and sophisticatedly written review, probably the best source for exact rules for the grammar accepted by GMAT. But its too concise, lacking enough practice and examples for all those rules. It ignores the need for integrated practice that would rehersal teachings from the different sections.

It's a good book. The delivery was simple, yet it gives deep knowledges regarding the subject. For those who want to score a high GMAT score i really recommend this book

If you looking for a book that explain how to do CS and also have practice question, this is not the best for you. No question that you can do for do, and many explanation on how to do CS, which I think useless.

The item was very clearly used with writing all over it. What a SCAM

The book pages, binding, and overall physical cleanliness is great. However, there is a significant amount of notes, scribbles, and markings within the margins and on the pages for a book claimed to be 'very good' quality. Generally, it isn't the biggest problem if this weren't a study book with practice exercises. With the answers, written primarily in pen right next to the questions, it makes it difficult to get full value out of the book. Properly explore the book's condition, particularly in contrast to its intended use and value, and then market appropriately.

It is a bible for sc. Every testaker should read this. U will find the book is amazing. Nice try

El libro explica toda la teoría necesaria para afrontar la parte de sentence correction del GMAT, y viene con ejercicios para asimilar mejor la teoría. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque me parece que la parte de ejercicios es incompleta. Están muy bien los ejercicios que te ayudan a entender los conceptos al final de cada capítulo, pero sería recomendable añadir más ejercicios similares a los que puedes encontrar en el GMAT. También creo que podía poner ejercicios más completos en los que hubiera errores comentados en varios temas y así practicar toda la teoría y no sólo la del último tema.

I'm often very sceptical about grammar books, but this book is excellent. I had to read chapter 12 twice, so don't worry if you also have to do so

Must have for gmat

Amazing Book. A strong recommendation for anybody who wishes to score high in Sentence Correction. This book helped me get a 770! (QA - 51 & VA - 44). Plus you get 5 Manhattan full length mocks which are pretty good practice again.

いろいろなサイトやブログで、シリーズのうち1冊でも買えば6回分のprepが使えるようになると書いてありますが、この本を買ってもprepは使えません。 最近仕様が変わったのかはわかりませんが、Complete Strategy Guide SetかComplete Prep Setを買う必要があります。 結果、この本を買ったのは無駄に終わりました。
