Why would this be different than swint an actual club

For two reasons. One, it has a good grip trainer. Two, it is much shorter than a club so you can swing it indoors (or on a paved area where you wouldn't want your club to strike).

What is the grip that it is molding to is it a strong, neutral, weak? Is it a Vardon or an Interlock?

Moulded grip on SKLZ is designed to give perfect hand grip positioning between right & left hands on the golf club - so "V's" from both right & left hands both point to the right shoulder.....so, in your terminology, assume is would be neutral. You can use either grip, I use the interlocking grip with no problems whatsoever, Vardon would be even easier I believe. One of my favourite golf training aids, especially because it can be used indoors anytime.

Just received this from Amazon & the grip is not fixed to the shaft. I can rotate without much effort. Is this how it supposed to be?

Grepp-, tempo- och styrketräningshjälpmedel för golf

Efter två veckors användning har jag noterat följande plus och minus med produkten. Bra: - Justerbar tyngd och lagom tung för att träna tempo och rotationsstyrka inomhus. - Bra för lätt/medeltung underarmsträning - Tydlig återkoppling om tempo/release hamnar fel - Grepptränare som faktiskt ger ett bra grepp för den som behöver det. - Kort så det är ingen risk att den slå i taket vid normal takhöjd och personlängd - Okomplicerad och lätt att använda. Lätt att lägga undan och är inte i vägen Minus: - Greppet tillåter bara högergrepp vilket gör det mer komplicerat att träna båda sidor. Bra att bygga styrka och flexibilitet lika på båda sidor. Det går men är lite omständigare än det skulle kunna vara.
