I'm using these with a pair of PoE gigabit SFP media converters and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Inexpensive replacement LC module
Make sure you get a preferable identical but similar Single Mode and similar wavelength module or you might find no communications. Best if you buy these in pairs to rule out mismatches.

Good value for the money
If you buy a fancy media converter you can pay up to $300 for the GBIC. These ones cost about $25 each and that is not so bad. Using these for my TRENDnet media converter. Recommended.
