This adapter is nice and small, it is exactly what I want and works really good. My monitor shows immediately when I connect it’s cable to the adapter.

Bought this to connect Surface Book 2 to an old QHD monitor which only has DVI input. Not entirely successful but I think it is some compatibility issue as I was going from USB-C to HMDI (using another adapter) then to dual link DVI (using this device). When I tested this device just going from HDMI to DVI, it worked OK. So I think this device itself is fine. Not tested it for the audio so can't really comment on that.

This device does not work as advertised. It does not concurrently display to VGA monitor and HDMI TV. I emailed Ruipoo Customer service as they request in their supplied card 2 days ago but no response. I would NOT recommend anybody else waste their time buying this device if they wish to display concurrently to VGA monitor and HDMI TV - it simply doesn't work. Am returning mine.

Great product and works well with the laptop

Wanted this so I cochleae extract audio form HDMI and VGA but this only extracts audio from VGA not HDMI

Good multitype adapter. I bought this to connect my laptop with a monitor and it works bery well.

J'utilise cet adapateur pour conencter ma nintendo switch à un écran qui ne possède pas de port HDMI. Cet adaptateur me permet de connecter ma switch à mon écran via les ports VGA ou DVI. Les deux fonctionnent bien pour du 1080p (je n'ai rien pour tester le 4K). La sortie audio sur l'adaptateur n'est utilisable que lorsque la sortie VGA (ou aucune sortie) est active. Si vous voulez utiliser la sortie DVI il faudra alors récupérer le son directement sur la switch (ou le PC). Voir les photos pour comment connecter le tout.

Du kan antingen få bild men inget ljud, eller ljud men ingen bild. Jag har en PS4 med HDMI utgång, som jag vill koppla till en äldre TV med DVI ingång och separat ljud ingång. Så jag kopplade den korta HDMI sladden som sitter på HDMI adaptern till PS4an och sedan en DVI kabel till TVn samt en 3,5mm kontakt i uttaget på adaptern som går till RCA ingångarna på TV som man använder vid DVI input när man vill ha ljud. Men adaptern verkar känna av om man använder DVI kontakten, och stänger av ljudet. Drar man ut DVI kontakten, ja, då kommer ljudet från PS4 på TV, men ingen bild. Och sätter man in DVI kontakten i adaptern, ja, då kommer bilden tillbaka, men då försvinner ljudet. Provade också med HDMI out på adaptern till DVI ingången på TV med en HDMI till DVI sladd. Men samma sak här. Så den vill inte ge bild och ljud samtidigt.

Ich habe von HDMI auf VGA und DVI konvertiert es funktioniert sehr gut, achten Sie nur bei VGA auf die Auflösungen es kann bei VGA 480i/480p, 720p 1080i/1080p bei DVI kann es zusätzlich auch 3840x2160 Der Konverter wird durch den USB Stecker mit Spannung versorgt, denn die Digitalen Signale müssen Analog umgewandelt werden. 5 Punkte da er auch Audio über 3,5mm Klinken Stecker zum VGA ausgibt.

ATTENTION NE CONVIENT PAS POUR UN CHROMECAST. Cet appareil n'est pas capable de fournir le son et l'image simultanément. Avec une définition sans ambiguïté ,je n'aurais pas acheté ce convertisseur. Ceci-dit ,ce convertisseur est parfait si le periferique est équipé d'une sortie audio analogique.. Je remercie les personne qui on répondu à mes questions. Moi je ne répond aux questions que lorsque je suis sur d'y apporter une réponse juste et efficace.

Leider fällt bei meinem Fernseher irgendwann der Ton aus, um wieder Ton zu haben muss ich den Adapter einmal stromlos machen. Ca. Jede Stunde manchmal aber auch gar nicht. Sonst gut.
