Omphalos - Sketchbook 2015

this Book is absolutely filled with beautiful sketches and illustrations. Very nice quality thick pages. I was a bit uncertain on paying so much for a book but this is the nicest quality art book I’ve ever owned and I have quite an extensive collection. Be warned there’s some pretty provocative stuff in there but it’s also some of the best examples of figure drawing you’re likely to find.

Wonderful book by the master himself. A lot of erotic poses.

The printing of this book is the worst I have see a long time ago. Many drawings are poorly scanned with a lot of pixels and burred lines. In some cases is not the original drawing, only are reproductions of reproductions. The most important of an art book is to enjoy the drawing with high quality and more if is so expensive like this. The reproductions are poor and awful and does not exist absolutely none information about the drawings. The book has no logic, only it's a lot of drawings posts without any order. The exterior design is acceptable but the inside is very poor, are not even numbered pages. The packaging is fine but that is not necessary, the most important thing is that the drawings look and enjoy good and that does not happen. I regret I have bought. This book is simply a big fraud. Kim Jung Gi is one the best artist contemporary, he doesn’t deserve this book. La impresión de este libro es horrible. Muchos dibujos están mal escaneados y mal reproducidos o pixelados. En algunos casos ni se ha hecho del dibujo original, son reproducciones de reproducciones. Lo más importante en un libro de arte es la impresión y la información y más si es un libro tan caro como este. Las reproducciones son de las peores que he visto en libros de arte y la información sobre la fecha de los dibujos y para que se hicieron o la técnica no existe. El libro no tiene ninguna lógica, solo se trata de muchos dibujos puestos sin ningún orden. El diseño exterior es aceptable pero el interior es muy pobre, ni siquiera están numeradas las páginas. El empaquetado está muy bien pero eso no es algo necesario, lo verdaderamente importante es que los dibujos se vean y se disfruten bien y eso no ocurre. Me arrepiento de haberlo comprado. Este libro es simplemente una estafa. Kim Jung Gi es uno de los mejores artistas contemporaneos y no se merece un libro tan malo.

Great book, ***king love kim jung gi, he's amazing and these books don't disappoint, check out his others... I ordered from labyrinth toronto and they shipped me a book in immaculate condition, with the original plastic wrap, kim jung gi box, and kim jung gi bubble wrap container. Could'nt have asked for anything else! Except a lower price... but that speaks more to my cheapness than it does to the value of this work, as it's above and beyond what I paid.. 200$ for years of work and practice? That's a steal. -Jasek1
