I was in a crunch for time and just wanted to but the cheapest heat protectant spray that arrived fast. Very satisfied with this purchase. It protected my hair well even when I put the curling wand on higher heat settings. No greasy feel or residue. Obviously there’s a fragrance but it smells nice to me.

Highly recommend if you have frizzy hair in the heat and humidity. Worked great and will be purchasing again! Love the smell and non-greasy feel.

This stuff is the holy grail when it comes to frizz. I keep it on constant Amazon subscription, I can not afford to run out. It helps hold my heated hair styles frizz free for so long. Nice and soft, not like a hairspray that makes your hair crunchy. Easy to use, spray diffuses evenly. The directions say you can use on damp hair but I don’t recommend, makes my hair knotty (the only reason I gave it a 4). I use a different thermal protectant on damp hair to blow dry, once fully dry I spray this, heat style, and then respray. Works wonders and I’ve used it in humidity you can drink out of the air, in Alabama and Louisiana.

The scent of this spray is definitely a highlight. It has that signature amika fragrance that smells fresh and salon-quality without being too overpowering. The size of the bottle is decent, and a little goes a long way, so it should last a while. As far as performance, it gave some light frizz control, but nothing dramatic. My hair still reacted to humidity, especially on really muggy days. It did help a bit with maintaining moisture and didn’t dry my hair out, which I appreciated. The texture of the product is lightweight and not sticky, so it layers well with other styling products. The spray itself is fine and even, and the product quality overall feels nice. However, it didn’t give my hair the level of smoothness or hold I was hoping for. For the price, I expected more. It’s not a bad product, just not as effective as I needed for serious humidity control. Might work better for someone with finer or less frizz-prone hair.

LOVEE my holy grail product!!! as a mixed girl with 4a hair this has been able to shield my hair from heat damage!!

The spray works great - it was recommended to me by a hairdresser, and really helps to tamp down the frizzies. When I received this, however, the spray button wouldn't work, wouldn't press down to release the spray - no instructions either on how to make it work. I ended up using a pair of pliers to turn the button about a quarter turn and finally got it to break free. Also, the website that is supposed to give on-line assistance doesn't help, unless you have "an account" with them - not merely ordering thru Amazon.
