LUXON Half Chrome Light Bulbs,Dimmable,Silver Dipped Glass,6W G25 Warm,E26

Used with a raised dining down-cast dome light, the mirror was required to avoid harsh direct light. It is quite bright so gets the dimmer treatment so it can go from candle-light charming to cleaning utility brightness. The filament styling is a nice touch. It's been doing its job for -- hmm -- I've lost count but def over 2 years now.

The bulb is great. Exactly as advertised. However, this review is really more about the seller than the product. Yes this is a great bulb and I am very satisfied with it. Like any good product, there's always something that slips past the quality control process and that was the case with one of the 3 bulbs I purchased from this seller. I bought these bulbs in July 2016. It is now April 2017. I recently started to notice one of the bulbs flickering. It was a bit annoying considering the fact that LED's are supposed to last a very long time. I contacted the seller via email on a Sunday evening (kind of late in the evening as I recall). I just assumed it would be perfectly reasonable not to expect a response until Monday or Tuesday. Within minutes of my sending the email I got a response. A couple of emails later, this seller had a replacement bulb ready for shipment. It is now Wednesday (3rd workday). I came home from work today to find the replacement bulb at my door! It is now in the light fixture and works perfectly. This seller is REALLY on top of things with regard to customer satisfaction. And I am certainly one satisfied customer! Yes, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this seller. This kind of customer service is not something you see often enough these days!

Color temp, brightness, format as expected. Lower half chroming eliminates glare under a hanging shroud fixture, nice diffusion. Unit purchased Sept 2016 just failed after 17 months use, was never dimmed (switched on/off only), <50 hours use per month. (Failure = flickers constantly, several times per second - visible failed joint on filament solder at neck of bulb.) Would have hoped for (if not expected) longer life, but overall satisfied - very much like the chroming and the attractive Edison style "stretched" LEDs. Will purchase again.

Living in an apartment, you often have to deal with there being no overhead ceiling light. (This is especially annoying with any type of board game night.) An arced floor lamp solved that problem but the bright bulb was always right in your vision and quite uncomfortable. This bulb provides bright, direct light that doesn't burn a hole into your retina. The color palette is quite warm, which decreases the stress that more bright-white bulbs can put on the eyes. This is not a dimmable lamp so I can't comment on the dimmable feature of the bulb but other than that this is definitely worth the price and I would recommend it.

I only wish they came with 100w power.

I would give a negative star review, if possible and website wouldn't allow less than 2! We bought two 2-packs of this bulb. One of the glass globes broke away from the rest of the bulb while screwing in the bulb, before the bulb was even tight in the socket. This happened the day we received the bulbs. A day later, another glass globe spontaneously broke away from the rest of the bulb and shattered on our dining room table. That bulb was not turned on when this happened and had been used in total less than 10 minutes. Probably a manufacturing defect since the bulbs are shipped in a form-fitting foam rubber package and seemed intact. We were lucky no one was sitting at the dining table when the glass globe dropped and shattered. Glass shards went everywhere and could have caused significant injury to anyone sitting at the table. The glass dining room table top may be damaged as well but we can't see clearly without overhead lighting. Clearly a defective and dangerous product that should be removed from sales.

After 3 years of not being able to turn on our island lights we finally found a resolution in these bulbs and could not be more thrilled! They have a modern look when turned off but have a warm feel when on, while still providing the right amount of light. I found these on amazon after almost purchasing these through a furniture distributor for double the cost. These are the way to go!

These have a deep yellow cast - I increased the watts to 7 (75) and that cheated a white cast - obviously still dim as expected with this bulb

Perfect to jazz up a light fixture

in a fixture with an exposed bulb... very nice...

LED chrome tipped light bulbs arrived quickly and intact. Looks marvelous in the two intended lamps which the bulbs sit fully exposed. Dims very nicely. Very pleased
