do you get everything like in picturesor are they expansion?

Yes sure, you can find all of the things shown in the pictures. But if you want, you can buy the "b-files expansion" to have extra missions...

I was gifted this for Christmas and ive just seen it came with the wrong plastic connectors for the dials included meaning i cant use any of them ?

I purchased this for my nephew and he has said you can still use it without the connectors, all you have to do is manually turn it. As I have never seen this game played I don’t actually know what this will mean for you but as I say my nephew has not had any issues playing this game. I hope this helps, if you need to ask anything else come back to me and I will ask my nephew for you.

Are the product dimensions really ‎50.8 x 76.2 x 76.2 cm; 453.59 Grams? It seems too big for the box content.

I don't Remember exactly but ,50.8 x 76.2 x 76.2 cm, it's too big. Just the box it's 30 x 30 cm.

Does the one player game work well?

You can play as a single player as well. However there are some scenarios that require minimum 2 players that are split at the beginning of the game and need to meet in one location at the end, but it is even more interesting. Only you make decisions and it’s not boring at all!
