Wow! GREAT product - "The price is right and the waffles are perfect!"
Wow! GREAT product! I've wanted a waffle iron for the longest time and, after carefully reviewing a number of them, I chose this product. It is well made of polished stainless steel and a sturdy plastic. The cooking surface has a non-stick coating so cooking oil is usually not needed. It comes with a 3-year warranty. The "ready" lights make cooking waffles straightforward and easy - red indicates the iron is hot and ready for the batter and the green light indicates the waffle is ready - in about 2- 3 minutes. Their are 5 cooking ranges so your waffle can be made as you want it - from lightly toasted to pleasantly crisp. The 7+" round waffles are cooked very quickly and with absolute consistency. The iron is safe to touch (on the outside!) and really easy to clean. It's easily stored standing on the counter out of the way, or placed in a drawer. We have been making waffles frequently as they are so easy to make. Our 10 year old loves making the waffles! Be sure to get your batter right - you are not cubing pancakes! - and you'll have excellent results. There are droves of recipes offering a wide variety of waffles that you can make, but this iron is not for Belgian Waffles. The Product Manual, available as a PDF download, has a number of recipes. I wholehearted recommend the Cuisinart Waffle Maker, 1250W Round Classic Waffle Iron. The price is right and the waffles are perfect!

makes waffles
and in the morning...I'm making waffles! Works well. The slider temperature switch could be better. Overall this is much better than the bigger waffle irons. Never had an issue with it, and the waffles turn out really good.

Amazing but difficult to clean! 🥪
Although phenomenal in theory and creates incredible waffles and waffle stuffed bread sandwiches 🤤 unfortunately, there's no way to take the plates out so cleaning them can grow mold since the box says never to put water directly on the plates. It's safe, heats very fast and well, versatile, the perfect size and extremely convenient when you want something mouthwatering but don't feel like using multiple pots and pans and dishes.

Convenient and easy to use waffle maker
Bought as a Christmas present and since it is used daily, I would say it is well loved and works great. Not sure how healthy it is to eat waffles every day, but who am I to judge.. it is easy to use and you just pour in a little over a half cup or homemade batter (at least she does) and you have fresh waffles in around a minute a piece. You need to pay attention since it does cook so quickly. Easy to tell when it’s done since it goes from green when you first put it in, to red, and back to green when it’s done. You can even choose the level of “doneness” like a toaster does, in the front. It is very compact since it’s about the size of a waffle, so easy storage. Mostly easy to clean unless you spill some in the front. Not as easy to get into those parts to clean, but if you don’t overfill and spill out the side, you’re good. Err on the side of caution for your first one and pour right in the middle.

Great Waffle Maker!
O.K. I just had my Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker delivered less than 2 hours ago. I opened it up, scanned the instructions quickly, plugged it in, and 4 minutes later it was ready to make waffles. Each waffle took less than 3 minutes, and probably closer to 2 minutes. I made 7 waffles, all of which turned out absolutely perfect. No sticking, no muss, no fuss. I ate one which was delicious, and froze the other 6 in a large freezer bag. I should also state that I prefer Krusteaz pancake and waffle mix because you only need to add water. Or, in the case of the waffle mix on the Krusteaz package it also requires a couple tablespoons of oil. I spent half a second spraying the top and lower grids with pam, which took a whopping total of 1 full second. This is a great little waffle iron and worked perfectly for me the first time I used it. I set it on 4 and the waffles came out to perfection. Each and every one of them. Not once did I open the iron before the green light came on indicating the waffle was done. Not once did any part of any waffle I made with this waffle iron stick at all. I should also mention that the waffle iron bisects the waffle and makes 4 uniform quarters, any one of which can be separated cleanly. I will experiment with reheating the frozen waffles by toaster, by microwave, and by oven next time. A quick rub down was all it took to clean it completely. Also the upper lid is weighted and not once did it rise or open while making waffles. I did measure the amount of batter using a half cup measuring device, and put between one third and one half cup of batter in each time. Nothing could be much simpler, or easier to make perfect waffles with, by doing so little work. I did not find it necessary to spread the batter out evenly with a rubber spatula as the weight of the lid does that uniformly. But I did use a rubber spatula to remove the waffles. I did not want to use a metal fork which might rub off some of the anti stick surface after multiple uses. Also, it is not clear to me why anyone would complain about a stainless steel surface getting hot when in use. As you can see in the picture you can use a very large plastic handle in the front or even that large plastic base in the rear, and it will be cool to the touch. There is no need to touch the stainless steel while the unit is in use.

Waffling over Waffle Makers?
I did a lot of research on regular waffle makers for under $100, and decided to go with this tried and true, inexpensive Amazon favorite. After all, how could 680+ reviewers be wrong? Anyway, I am a first-time waffle-maker owner, and this model has been absolutely perfect. We've made several dozen batches of waffles, 10-20 at a time, many different batters of various ingredients, and have not had a single one even come close to sticking. I like that we can adjust the darkness setting based on the batter, and this unit is so compact that it easily stores on edge. I could have spent more on a waffle maker that took up more storage space, but I didn't have to. My only negative observations (although minor) are that the instructions mention a "special latching feature" which is supposed to keep the unit locked closed for storage; ours does not "lock." There are also two slots into which the plug from the wrapped electric cord are supposed to insert; our cord is about an inch short of allowing that. Observations to share with other amateurs like myself: * As the instructions say, the first time you heat this waffle maker, you'll want to put it on high to burn off the chemical coating from manufacturing the Teflon. I actually placed the unit outside because it was pretty fumy (no smoke, just smells). We also threw out our first few waffles after the first oiling and cleaning just in case. * DON'T USE COOKING SPRAYS ON TEFLON: It's fairly well documented on the web that the propellant in non-stick cooking sprays is what leaves behind that sticky, brown gunk that eventually will ruin a Teflon surface. Instead, use regular extra virgin olive oil applied with a heat-resistant OXO Good Grips Silicone Pastry Brush . Oil the hot grates once before each use and toss the brush in the dishwasher. It gets in all the nooks and crannies with ease, and you'll never have residue. Cleans up with a damp paper towel. * Instructions say 1/2 cup of batter per waffle. We've found this to vary depending on the thickness of the batter. Start with 1/3 cup; you can always add more if your waffles are coming out too small. * Steam release is a better indicator of when the waffles are done than the green/red light on the unit. Sometimes it cycles on and off twice on level 2.5 before the waffles are perfect. We find most of our batters work best between 2 and 3.

Excellent waffle maker!
This is a fantastic waffle iron! I wanted it because I wanted to do the old-fashion thinner waffles. This waffle pan cooks them to perfection. More than that, it heats up in a matter of minutes, and cooks the waffles in two or three minutes (there is a dial for selecting how dark you want your waffles). The dial is absolutely consistent which is a wonderful feature. It is easy to clean and a joy to cook with. I read the reviews here on Amazon and there were some that said that the lid as loose, which concerned me. I thought my lid was loose as well but found it worked beautifully.
