MERV 16 Air Filtration Material to use for DIY projects custom size air 16 is designed to trap over 95 Percent of microscopic particles in all 3 ranges per ASHRAE 52. 2. This product contains 30 square feet of Merv 16 from 99 Percent efficient Polypropylene Filter media for DIY Air Filtration. If you are looking to create your own air filter projects, you can sandwich the material in between your regular cloth layers to create additional air filtration protection. The material can be cut to your desired shape and length. Textured ridges-side faces incoming airflow. 100 Percent Melt-blown Polypropylene non-woven fabric material. Electrostatic charge captures 0. 1um particles. No Fiberglass. 30 square feet can be cut into 180 pieces of 4 inches x 6 inches , or almost half a year's use at 1 piece each day. Do not confuse with Spunbond polypropylene to make reusable and not intended for use as a micron filter. Do not confuse with other polymers. No Polycarbonate and does not contain BPA.
