Take the excess tubing and insert the tubing into the back slot. You will notice the tubing click in. Once part of the tubing has been inserted into the back slot and tubing no longer is able to fall out of the slot, turn the dial in the middle of the disc counterclockwise until the excess tubing is shortened to the length you prefer.
