To ensure our tools are the most accurate on the market, SkyScraper Guitars' Fret Rockers are CNC milled (not water, plasma or laser cut) out of aircraft grade aluminum. The edges are then checked on a machinist's precision surface plate. The resulting tool has edges that are +/- .0005" over 12". This is a microscopic level of precision that results in accurately detecting imperfect frets. Once the edges are perfectly flat, our Fret Rockers then undergo a hard anodizing process that ensures they will provide a lifetime of service in the hands of any discerning guitar player, repair tech or custom builder.
